Who We Are

Our youth group was named from the desire to see this new generation boldly RISE UP:

 

  • Rise Up against the weapons formed against them

  • Rise Up against sin

  • Rise Up in wisdom and discernment

  • Rise Up in the will of God

  • Rise Up in prayer

  • Rise Up in praise & worshipping God

  • Rise Up as young men and women of God

  • Rise Up and win souls for Jesus

Our mission is to guide and point them to Jesus. Whether at home, school, work, or during their years growing up, we teach and encourage our youth by dealing with the issues they face and helping them mature in the call and destiny God has for them.

By encouraging the family and providing a nurturing and challenging atmosphere, we model friendship, ministry, loving and knowing God's love, all while having a good time!

Welcome to our eighth lesson of C2C: The Life of Jacob “What they meant for evil God used for good.” Joseph’s story is one of family betrayal (which always cuts deep), and everything in life just going backwards even though YOU yourself are doing what’s right. Our teens will see in life, that it isn’t fair. People will be people and things will happen. Yet in the midst of that – God can use it all for good. (REFERENCE SCRIPTURES) o Joseph relationship with family (Ch. 37) o Story of Tamar (?) (Ch. 38) o Joseph overseer, imprisoned and made ruler (Ch. 39 – 41) o Joseph sees family again (Ch. 42 – 47) o Blessings for the family (Ch. 48 – 50)

Welcome to our seventh lesson of C2C: The Life of Isaac The story of Isaac happens to be a great story on a good relationship in meeting a spouse, but also a warning on a family dynamic that played favorites. Yet, God still was an active part of everything. (REFERENCE SCRIPTURES) o Isaac gets married to Rebekah (Ch. 24) o Esau and Jacob (Ch. 25 – 27)

Welcome to our Fifth Lesson of our new Curriculum "C2C" ... The Life Of Abraham! There is a reason they call Abraham the father of our faith. His story has faith, hope, righteousness, courage, and blessings. Abraham’s story also includes lying and unwise decisions that plague us “common” Christian’s today. It’s both encouraging and a blessing to see that our Father of the faith had issues that he had to work out. This theme can help our teens see that just because they made a mistake – doesn’t disqualify them, just like it didn’t with Abraham and his family that came after him. (REFERENCE SCRIPTURES) o God calls “Abram” (Ch. 12) o Abram lies about Sarai (Ch. 12) o Abram and Lot separate/Abram saves Lot (Ch. 13 & 14) o Abram promised an heir and covenant with God (Ch. 15) o Abram, Sarai, Hagar and Ishmael. (Ch. 16) o Abram and Sarai become Abraham and Sarah (Ch. 17) o Heavenly Visitation – promised son through sarah (Ch. 18) o Birth of Isaac (Ch. 21) o God test Abraham w/ Isaac. (Ch. 22)

Welcome to our sixth lesson of C2C: Sodom and Gomorrah! Although this story is technically apart of Abraham’s timeline – it holds its own powerful lesson to learn from. Sodom and Gomorrah deals with homosexuality, other sexual immorality, terrible behavior towards one another, pride, theft, murder, and why God destroyed it. Yet in the midst of that, God was still willing to save it. It’s a good idea to know why God does the things he does. (REFERENCE SCRIPTURES) o God deals with Sodom and Gomorrah (Ch. 18-21)
